Description
Our verdict: Our first choice for most mouse problems. They’re cheap, quick to set and reusable, and they kill instantly without poison, so there’s no risk of a poisoned mouse dying under the floorboards or being eaten by your cat. Four traps covers a typical kitchen. Add more if you’re seeing signs in several rooms.
Best for: kitchens and most indoor mouse problems | Pack: 4 | Poison: none
What are Uflix Quick-Snap Mouse Traps?
Uflix traps are reusable plastic snap traps with a strong stainless-steel spring. The bait cup is set back from the jaws, so you can bait and set them without your fingers going near the teeth, and you can release the mouse into a bin without touching it.
They’re made from non-absorbent ABS plastic that’s easy to wash, and they’re weather-resistant enough for garages and sheds as well as indoors.
How to use them properly
- Find the runs. Look for droppings, gnaw marks and greasy smudges along skirting boards, behind the cooker and fridge, and under sinks.
- Place traps at right angles to the wall, with the bait end against the skirting, because mice run along edges.
- Use several traps, 1–2 metres apart, in every area with signs.
- Bait lightly with a pea-sized dab of peanut butter or chocolate spread. Too much lets mice lick it off without triggering the trap.
- Check daily, wearing gloves, and keep trapping for a week after the last catch. Then seal entry gaps with proofing mesh.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the best bait for Uflix mouse traps?
Peanut butter, chocolate or seeds, as the manufacturer recommends. Use a small amount pressed into the bait cup.
Are they safe around pets?
They’re poison-free, but a snap trap can still hurt a curious paw or nose. Set them behind appliances, under units or inside a box with a mouse-sized hole.
Can I reuse them after catching a mouse?
Yes. Release the mouse into a bag, wash the trap with hot soapy water, and reset it.
How do I stop mice coming back?
Seal gaps around pipes, vents and doors once activity stops. Mice can squeeze through a gap the width of a pencil.
