What are NOPE! Rat Snap Traps?
They’re large, reusable plastic snap traps built for rats. NOPE! says they’re up to three times stronger than standard models, thanks to a heavy-duty spring and reinforced kill bar. A deep bait cup holds peanut butter or other lures, and the wide trigger pad makes them sensitive enough for mice too.
Being poison-free, they carry no secondary poisoning risk, and you can see the result rather than wondering where a poisoned rat has gone.
How to catch rats with them
Rats are naturally wary of new objects, so the first few days matter most.
- Find the runs. Look for droppings, gnaw marks and greasy rub marks along walls, fences and loft joists.
- Place traps along the run, against the wall, with the trigger facing the path.
- Pre-bait unset for 2–3 days so the rats get used to taking food from them.
- Set all the traps on the same night, so wary rats don’t learn from one going off.
