What are FERRIS Ant Killer Bait Stations?
FERRIS bait stations are small enclosed units containing an ant bait. Worker ants are attracted inside, feed, and carry the bait back to the nest, where it spreads through the colony, including to the queen. That’s why bait stations work where sprays fail: a spray only kills the ants it touches.
The enclosed design keeps the bait contained and away from fingers and paws. The pack of four lets you cover several trails or entry points at once, indoors in kitchens and bathrooms or outdoors on patios and paths.
How to use them properly
- Follow the trail. Watch where ants come in, such as under doors, along skirting boards and through window frames.
- Activate each station. Remove the central protective lid and press firmly until it clicks.
- Place them flat, right on the trail or next to the entry point, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Don’t spray or clean the trail. Sprays kill the workers before they can carry bait home, and cleaning removes the scent trail they follow.
- Be patient. You may see more ants for a day or two as they find the bait, which is a good sign.
